What we're legally allowed to charge you
Under India's Emigration Act, 1983, a registered recruiting agent is capped at a fixed service fee — agents charging lakhs of rupees for a “guaranteed” overseas job are operating outside the law, regardless of how professional their website looks. Dew Drops operates a zero placement-fee policy toward nurses: our fee is paid by the hiring hospital, not the candidate.

How to tell a real agency from a fake one
- Asks for large payment before any job offer or interview exists
- Cannot give you a license/registration number, or the number doesn't check out on the government portal
- Only communicates over WhatsApp or personal numbers, with no registered office address
- Pressures you to decide or pay within hours
- Charges more than the government-capped agent service fee
- Gives you a license number you can verify yourself, before you pay anything
- Has a registered office address and landline you can call
- Explains fees in writing, in line with the Emigration Act cap
- Lets you speak to nurses they've actually placed
- Never asks for your passport or original certificates as collateral
